FDA approves new pancreatic cancer drug — could be the first of many
The US Food and Drug Administration has approved a new drug to treat pancreatic cancer. Pharmaceutical companies are currently testing dozens of similar therapies targeting cancers of the pancreas, lung, colon and other organs. Researchers hope the approval signals the beginning of a broader wave of new oncological treatments.
