Pilgrims crossing Nepal–Tibet border among 500 foreigners missing after flood

The largest single group among the roughly 500 missing foreigners after Nepal's catastrophic floods appears to be pilgrims who were crossing between Nepal and a sacred site in the Chinese region of Tibet. Search and rescue operations are ongoing across the affected Himalayan area as teams work to account for the missing.
