Piesiewicz can run PKOI even from custody — statute allows it, says Jędrzejczak

The detention of Radosław Piesiewicz has caused confusion within the Polish Olympic Committee, but it does not automatically strip him of the presidency. Olympic champion Otylia Jędrzejczak pointed out that the PKOI statute has loopholes — the board cannot even be convened without the president's consent. As a result, Piesiewicz could technically remain in office even while in custody.
