Wisła–Zwardoń rail link: a pre-war dream still unrealised

The idea of a railway connection between Wisła Głębce and Zwardoń in the Beskid Mountains dates back to the interwar period and remains unbuilt to this day. MP Małgorzata Pępek of the Civic Coalition filed a parliamentary question to Infrastructure Minister Dariusz Klimczak on the matter. The ministry's response gave little cause for optimism about the project's near-term prospects.
