Polish Olympic Committee president Piesiewicz detained in ZondaCrypto probe

Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek confirmed the detention of Radosław Piesiewicz, president of the Polish Olympic Committee, as part of an investigation into the ZondaCrypto cryptocurrency affair. The arrest followed a journalistic investigation by Wirtualna Polska and TVN24's "Superwizjer" programme. The Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime carried out the detention on orders from the National Prosecution Service in Katowice.
