EVs still cost more per km than petrol cars in Poland
According to the Mobility Guide 2026 report, the total cost of ownership for an electric vehicle in Poland is around €0.32 per kilometre, compared to €0.25 for a petrol car. In most Western European markets the relationship is reversed, with EVs being cheaper to run. Poland's charging network is expanding, but the economics of EV ownership still lag behind western peers.
