FC Barcelona scraps World Cup champions ceremony in favour of Catalan flag tribute
FC Barcelona will not hold a ceremony honouring its World Cup champion players ahead of Sunday's match against Athletic Bilbao. Club president Joan Laporta confirmed the cancellation of the planned tribute. Instead, the Camp Nou event will focus on the estelada, the Catalan independence flag.
