EU gas storage well below average — Poland nearly fully covered

EU natural gas storage stands at 63.5% of capacity, well below the five-year seasonal average of 80.8%, according to Gas Infrastructure Europe. Current EU storage holds 718.21 TWh of gas. Poland is an exception to the regional shortfall, with its reserves described as nearly fully secured.
