Balloons carrying smuggled cigarettes land in Podlaskie — police seize 15,000 packs

Several balloons carrying smuggled goods were found in the Podlaskie region of northeastern Poland. In Jaświły, four balloons landed on a residential rooftop and police seized 15,000 packs of cigarettes without Polish excise stamps. Similar objects were also found in Jabłonka Kościelna and hanging from a high-voltage power line in Zygmunty.
