Pilot asked passengers: bags or people? Plane was too heavy to take off

More than 180 passengers on a flight from the Greek island of Skiathos to Naples, Italy, were told just before take-off that the plane was overweight. The pilot announced that either passengers or their baggage would have to leave the aircraft and asked travellers which they preferred, sparking a heated debate on board.
