Poland's lex deweloper loophole expires, ending bypass of local zoning plans

Poland's so-called lex deweloper provisions expire on Tuesday, ending a loophole that allowed developers to bypass local zoning plans for the past eight years. According to the Polish Association of Developer Companies, around 100,000 homes were built under the special law during that period. Going forward, residential developments will need to comply with local zoning regulations.
