Taliban delegation visits Belarus — officially economic ties, military angle suspected

A Taliban delegation from Afghanistan visited Belarus, meeting with officials and touring BelAZ plants and other industrial enterprises. Officially the talks focused on economic, technological and industrial cooperation. Analysts note the visit may also have significance for Afghanistan's military capabilities, as the Taliban hold equipment they cannot maintain themselves.
