Storms and heavy rain to sweep Poland from the weekend — north hit hardest

Poland's spell of calm weather is set to end, with weather fronts bringing rain and thunderstorms expected from the weekend. The storms may turn severe next week, covering most of the country, with northern regions forecast to receive the highest rainfall through to early September.
