Glacial collapse triggers mudslide: 160+ dead, 558 missing in Nepal and Tibet
A glacial collapse in the Himalayas triggered a massive mudslide at the Nepal-Tibet border, killing at least 162 people in Nepal and three in Tibet. Chinese authorities reported 558 people missing on the Chinese side, including 260 foreign nationals, according to state news agency Xinhua. Nepalese police confirmed the death toll from Wednesday's disaster.
