Russia building up military infrastructure along Norwegian and Finnish borders
Colonel Tomas Bakke of Norway's Finnmark Brigade warned in an interview with Dagsavisen that Russia is expanding its military infrastructure along the borders with Norway and Finland. The build-up is aimed at enabling the deployment of additional troops to the north. The Norwegian military assesses that Russian military ambitions in the region are growing.
