Bank Handlowy doubles Q2 profit but misses analyst forecasts

Bank Handlowy reported Q2 2026 net profit of PLN 320.8m, up from PLN 165.6m a year earlier — nearly double. The result nonetheless missed analyst expectations by 6.5%, falling short of the forecast PLN 343.2m. High provisions were cited as a key factor weighing on the bottom line.
