EU's PPWR regulation crushes small sellers — representative costs up to €27,000 a year

The EU's PPWR regulation on packaging and packaging waste has hit small shops and craft sellers hard, including those in Poland. The rules require sellers operating in other EU countries to hire local representatives, at a cost of up to 116,200 złoty per country per year. As a result, many small businesses have stopped selling cross-border within the EU altogether.
