From September 2026 lower earnings limits for pensioners — ZUS may demand 13th and 14th pension repayment

From 1 September 2026, new and lower earnings thresholds will apply to working pensioners and disability recipients in Poland. Exceeding the limits may result in reduced or suspended benefits, and in some cases ZUS (the Social Insurance Institution) may demand repayment of the 13th or 14th pension. Working seniors are advised to monitor their income closely to avoid repayment obligations.
