Poles Raise 500,000 PLN for Orphaned Baby Oliwier in Record Time

After a devastating accident in the Podgórze district of Kraków in which a young married couple died and their 8-month-old son Oliwier fought for his life, an online fundraiser for the boy quickly reached its initial target of 500,000 zlotys. The collection was completed in a remarkably short time. Efforts to secure the orphaned infant's future are ongoing.
