StarkWare executes first quantum-resistant Bitcoin transaction
Blockchain firm StarkWare has successfully executed what it describes as the first quantum-resistant Bitcoin transaction. However, the company stresses that Bitcoin still needs a protocol-level upgrade to be fully protected against quantum computing threats. Without such changes, the network remains potentially vulnerable to future quantum attacks.
