US to send $500,000 in flood relief aid to Nepal

The US State Department announced it will send $500,000 in aid to victims of flash floods in Nepal. The funds will be channelled through Catholic Relief Services to cover shelter, food and urgent needs. US authorities also offered condolences to the families of those killed.
