Car ploughs into pedestrians in Caen, France — one dead, 10 injured

A car ploughed into pedestrians in the French city of Caen on Wednesday evening, killing one person and injuring 10 others, seven of them critically. A 26-year-old man was detained after fleeing the scene. Prosecutors said the incident is not currently being treated as a terrorist act.
