China's industrial profit growth slows to 7-month low of 11.2% in July

Chinese industrial corporate profits rose 11.2% year-on-year in July, the slowest growth in seven months. The figure nonetheless marks a significant turnaround from years of decline since 2021 and near-flat growth last year. Double-digit profit gains have characterised the sector for most of this year.
