NFL scraps Pro Bowl game — 88 All-Stars to be honoured at Super Bowl week instead

The NFL has announced it is ending the Pro Bowl Games after repeated format changes to its annual all-star event. Starting with the 2026 season, 88 Pro Bowlers will be selected but will attend a celebration during Super Bowl week in Los Angeles instead of playing a game. The flag-football match and skills competitions are also being discontinued.
