Russian influence network used ChatGPT to impersonate academic experts

A Russian influence operation promoted a fake Israeli think tank that published plagiarised scholarship under the names of real academics, spreading pro-Russian analysis across social media. ChatGPT was used to produce and circulate the content. The goal was to lend academic credibility to pro-Russian narratives.
