Judge rejects Trump DOJ's bid to throw out Steve Bannon's contempt conviction

A federal judge rejected the Trump Justice Department's attempt to dismiss Steve Bannon's contempt of Congress conviction. Bannon was convicted for defying subpoenas from the January 6 committee. The court ruled that the move from Jeanine Pirro's office was insufficient to justify tossing out the case.
