Nepal flood: glacier collapse, not earthquake, caused disaster – at least 157 dead

The US Geological Survey (USGS) has clarified that no earthquake struck Nepal – the tremors detected were caused by a landslide. Experts cited by Reuters believe the disaster may have been triggered by a glacial collapse. At least 157 people have been killed and hundreds more, mostly foreign tourists, are reported missing.
