Sky to acquire ITV — managing director: "They're not buying us to dismantle us"

Comcast-owned Sky is set to acquire UK public service broadcaster ITV in a deal that still needs regulatory clearance, a process that could take up to a year. ITV managing director Kevin Lygo expressed confidence in the deal, saying everyone understands its logic and why it is a good idea.
