Expert warns rescue operation in flood-hit Nepal will be extremely difficult

Jarosław Ciołkowski, a pilot with experience leading expeditions to Nepal, told TVN24 BiS that the rescue operation after the Bhote Koshi river flood will be extremely challenging. The river is dangerous even in calm conditions, and its meandering gorges and remote villages make access very difficult for rescuers. The flood struck suddenly, leaving local communities with no time to prepare.
