LSU abstains as SEC approves penalties for schools playing ex-pro players

LSU was the only SEC school to abstain from approving the conference's new penalty structure targeting coaches and schools that field ex-professional players. All other SEC members voted in favour of the new rules. The abstention puts LSU at odds with the rest of the conference.
