A magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck Colombia on Wednesday at around 11:45 am local time, with its epicentre in Los Santos in the Santander department, according to the Colombian Geological Survey. The tremors prompted evacuations in the capital Bogotá and in Bucaramanga. No casualty figures were immediately reported.
