NASA's Roman Space Telescope moved to SpaceX hangar ahead of Falcon Heavy launch

NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, encapsulated in its payload fairing, has been transported to the SpaceX hangar at Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center ahead of mating with a Falcon Heavy rocket. Liftoff is targeted no earlier than August 30, 2026. The observatory is designed to study dark energy, dark matter, and the formation and evolution of galaxies.
