France tornado: 41 injured, winds hit 73 mph, hundreds of homes damaged

A tornado with winds estimated at around 73 mph struck southern France, injuring 41 people and damaging hundreds of homes. The twister hit the village of Pomas in the Aude department. Authorities described it as a rare and exceptionally destructive event.
