13-year-old Tymek dies in Warsaw waiting for a heart transplant

Thirteen-year-old Tymek Pluszkiewicz died on Wednesday at a hospital in Warsaw after a heart suitable for transplantation arrived too late. His mother Anna Pluszkiewicz, who had previously spoken publicly about organ donation, says she hopes her son's death will give meaning to their ongoing appeal for more people to register as donors. The boy had been waiting for a heart transplant.
