Landslide triggered earthquake in Nepal — at least 157 killed in floods
At least 157 people were killed after devastating floods struck the Nepal-Tibet border region on Wednesday. New findings suggest the sequence of events was the reverse of initial reports: it was a landslide that triggered the seismic tremors recorded by seismometers, not an earthquake causing the landslide. Hundreds of people remain missing, including many foreign nationals.
