Zelensky announces "historic operation" in Donetsk region, sends reinforced units

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that two reorganised military groupings are being deployed to reinforce the front in the Donetsk region. The brigades will be commanded by Heroes of Ukraine, Generals Denys Prokopenko and Andriy Biletsky. Zelensky described the ongoing fighting in the area as a "historic operation" to liberate Russian-occupied settlements.
