Driver kills parents on Kraków pavement, eight-month-old baby survives

A Volkswagen Golf driver struck a family of three on a pavement on Solna Street in Kraków's Stare Podgórze district, killing both parents and leaving only their eight-month-old baby alive. Residents had been warning city authorities about the danger of the street for years, but the municipality had failed to act. Following the tragedy, Kraków officials announced safety measures that locals say should have been implemented long ago.
