Putin and al-Sharaa discuss Russia-Syria ties and fate of Russian military bases

Vladimir Putin and Syrian leader Ahmad al-Sharaa held talks on the future of Russia-Syria relations following the fall of the Assad regime. Central to the discussions was the fate of Russia's Khmeimim and Tartous military bases, which Moscow used to support the ousted Assad government.
