Polish insurers posted gains in H1, but motor third-party liability remains unprofitable
Polish insurers reported growth in premiums, claims payouts and profits in the first half of the year, pointing to the overall good health of the market. However, motor third-party liability (OC) insurance continues to drag on profitability, remaining deeply unprofitable for the sector. The results highlight a structural problem in car insurance pricing in Poland.
