Teen suspect in fatal Kraków beating was on leave from a youth detention centre

The 16-year-old detained in connection with a fatal beating in the Osiedle Willowe district of Kraków was on an authorised leave from a closed youth detention centre, Polsat News has established. A court subsequently ordered his immediate return to the facility. Earlier reports had suggested the teenager had been released, sparking public confusion and concern.
