ZUS warns: Ukrainians must verify identity by August 31 or lose 800+ benefit

Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has reminded Ukrainian citizens that they must visit their local municipal office to confirm their identity by August 31, 2026. Failure to do so will result in the loss of UKR status and, consequently, temporary protection rights including the 800+ child benefit. ZUS is urging those affected not to leave the formality until the last moment.
