Budanov linked to money-laundering probe in the Mindych affair
Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office and former military intelligence chief, has been named in investigative materials related to the so-called Mindych affair. It is the first time such a direct link has been drawn between one of President Zelensky's closest aides and an alleged money-laundering operation. The funds in question were reportedly used to post bail for former energy minister Herman Haluschenko.
