Perseverance captures Phobos transit across the Sun from Mars surface

NASA's Perseverance rover, operating in Mars's Jezero Crater, recorded a rare transit of the moon Phobos across the face of the Sun. The footage shows the small moon's irregular, dark silhouette moving in front of the Sun. The recording was made directly from the Martian surface.
