Photographer demands payment for photo of late MP Litewka — 35 NGOs receive legal notices
Following the death of Polish MP and activist Łukasz Litewka, dozens of organisations published his photo online as a tribute. Four months later, the photographer who took the image sent legal payment demands to those who used it without a licence. According to the foundation "Z rąk do rąk", at least 35 NGOs and private individuals have received such notices. The case has sparked debate about copyright boundaries in the context of public mourning.
