New evaporation trick enables perovskite tandem solar cells at lower temperatures

Researchers have developed a new vaporisation technique for a compound used to make perovskite semiconductors, allowing next-generation tandem solar cells to be produced at lower temperatures. The approach tackles a key obstacle in scaling up manufacturing of these high-efficiency cells. The findings were published in the journal Nature.
