Ukraine struck Moscow with drones despite US request to hold off

Russian air defences shot down ten drones heading for Moscow overnight, according to city mayor Sergei Sobyanin. The attacks took place just hours after CIA Director John Ratcliffe departed the Russian capital. US media reported that Washington had previously asked Ukraine to hold off drone strikes due to the presence of American officials in Moscow.
