Poland left out of Rhine Group on EU competitiveness — deputy minister calls it "peculiar"
Deputy Minister for Funds and Regional Policy Jan Szyszko criticised Poland's exclusion from the so-called Rhine Group — an informal bloc of EU member states tasked with drawing up proposals to boost Europe's competitiveness. Writing on X, Szyszko called the initiative being formed "over the heads of half the member states" a "peculiar idea." The ministry has signalled diplomatic intervention.
