Zalando to close Erfurt logistics centre — 500 Polish workers to lose jobs

Zalando will close its logistics centre in Erfurt, Germany, at the end of September 2026. Around 2,700 workers from over 70 nationalities will lose their jobs, including an estimated 500 Polish nationals. Some of the Polish employees are considering returning to Poland after the closure.
