Flash floods and avalanche kill eight in Nepal's Himalayas, hundreds missing

Flash floods and an avalanche devastated Nepal's Himalayan region along the Bhotekoshi river, destroying villages and infrastructure. At least eight people were killed and hundreds reported missing. Roads, bridges and homes were swept away in the disaster.
