Frankfurt airport worker dies of malaria after mosquito arrived on plane
A mosquito that arrived on a plane infected six workers at Frankfurt Airport with malaria in early July. One of those infected did not survive. The outbreak is a rare case of so-called airport malaria, a tropical disease spread by insects transported by aircraft.
